The David Hardie Project

Provides extravagant, fun events for disabled and disadvantaged children. We secure support from our University, business and social contacts around Cambridge to ensure the events are high quality and free of charge to guests.

Brett Turner (chairman of Cambridge Wine Merchants) set up the project in memory of his sons’ friend David Hardie who was hit by a drink-driver and killed, aged 19. Brett and David’s twin brother Hugh now run the project.

We are looking for support in making our events as exciting as possible. If “ what you do” would be fun at the party – come along and do it for us. If you have a great idea for an event, if you can help with providing venue, transport, or stewarding or anything else please contact us.

If you wish to donate money to the project please either call me for our bank details or send a cheque care of me to 15 Chesterton Road Cambridge CB4 3AL – made payable to The David Hardie Project. Funds are used solely to help with costs of events – food, drink, entertainers’ fees etc. The project is largely funded personally by me.
